What is Lost & Found?
Lost & Found aims to be the organized heartbeat of campus belongings — a humane system for reporting, tracking, and reclaiming lost items. It's where misplaced water bottles, forgotten notebooks, and wandering earphones find their way back home.

We're working hard to bring you a seamless lost and found experience. This service will launch soon with features designed to reunite you with your belongings quickly and easily.
The Planned Experience
The board will be designed like a hybrid between a classifieds interface and a story feed. Each entry will include an item title, description, image, and location marker to help you identify and locate your belongings.
Users will be able to report a lost or found item easily; submissions will appear in categorized sections (Lost / Found / Claimed). Expired or resolved posts will automatically disappear, maintaining order and relevance.

Items displayed with thumbnails, concise captions, and contact action buttons for easy identification and claiming.
✅ Claim Confirmation Flow
Once an item is resolved, it fades out gracefully from the active board while maintaining a brief history.
📍 Location Markers
Specify where items were lost or found to help narrow down search areas and increase recovery chances.
⏱️ Chronological Timeline
Entries sorted by recent activity, ensuring the most urgent and recent items get priority visibility.

Lost & Found will provide a centralized, organized platform where the entire campus community can help each other. It's not just about recovering items — it's about building a culture of care, trust, and mutual support.
